With increasing threats from extreme weather, war, and terrorism, it is crucial to fund education and research. The Security Act requires expertise we do not have educational programs for (!). We need more knowledge. No funding, limited education and research.

Is it cheating to explore a dataset for things you didn't initially hypothesize? Absolutely not! It needs to be better acknowledged that science is all about finding new ideas in data and then testing them with a new dataset, which can then be mined for new ideas, and on it goes!
