My animals are soothing to me. They were all by my side due info chemo and I believe it helped me through it. My kids were afraid of all the changes. Surgery stitches. Bald. Port in my arm. But they were right beside me the whole way.

If I had any advice about Stage 4 cancer it would be to accept it. I live with my dragon, we co exist quietly. We don’t fight and I no longer waste any energy on him. I will not let cancer consume me, I accept that it will always be part of me but it will never define me 🐉
