From tomorrow, May 1st, Child Benefit will be extended to children aged 18 who are in full-time education or who have a disability.

This will benefit an additional 60,000 children annually.

1.2 million children, or 650,000 families, already receive the Child Benefit Payment.

120+ hours & eight weeks later & the Planning & Development Bill 2023 has passed Committee Stage in the Oireachtas.

This is the 3rd largest piece of legislation in the history of the Oireachtas & has consistency, certianty & clarity for all users at its core.
