PSA: using TLS/encryption-at-rest/encryption-in-transit *does not* mean your app is "end-to-end encrypted". Misleading people about this is fraud. Be honest about your trust model and its tradeoffs. e2ee makes *everything* harder. It's ok not to use it. Just be honest.

Top Show HN of the day on Wednesday with over 200 upvotes... not too shabby. Lots of great feedback and things to improve, especially making it easier to understand how EnvKey works without needing to download. Working on videos and GIFs. Also considering pricing changes.

I've been in a coding cave for the last 3.5 years working on a huge v2 release for my startup EnvKey I know... probably shouldn't have done that. But now that it's finally launched, I'm going to do a complete 180 and switch to building in public. Follow for updates!
