The TA team has definitely been touring the UK lately! Here's Anne-Marie at the Snap Parent Carer Forum in Central #Bedfordshire - a local community event where the forum launched a new booklet to support parents, teachers & professionals and #neurodiverse families in their area

As mentioned today Matt Hancock to be an inclusive neurodivergent bill, you need to include #Tourettes #dyscalculia #dyspraxia it can’t be ring fenced to ADHD, autism & dyslexia. We are all suffering from the same underlying problems with under / late diagnosis / lack of support

This postcode lottery rings true for Tourette’s and is a huge problem for families outside of London. There are few commissioned services for #Tourettes even though prevalence is 1 in 100 - it is NOT rare but gaining a diagnosis and treatment is extremely difficult
