Today has been tragic seeing the damage & rescues across Kerr County. The Guadalupe River broke records this morning. 13 confirmed fatalities as of 5pm, & more than 20 girls from Camp Mystic are still missing among others. We’ll continue to cover this catastrophe KENS 5.

10:00 AM update from Kerr County officials. 59 people dead including 38 adults & 21 children. 11 girls from Camp Mystic are still unaccounted for and 1 camp counselor. 400 first responders from 28 different agencies are still doing search and rescues. Next conference is at 3 pm.

Update: The Texas Military Department's rescue operations have resulted in the successful recovery of 520 individuals. These efforts included 361 air evacuations conducted with UH-60 Black Hawks and 159 ground rescues employing various vehicles and assets.
