I'd far rather my gov't prioritize school safety and timely access to healthcare instead of partisan ads, unwanted Hwys, and LCBO bags.

Most schools will not have adequate air filtration for wildfire smoke.
The same HEPA units the gov't spent millions on to clean covid from air *also* remove harmful wildfire smoke particles. But! MANY of the units are unused, languishing in storage.

Demand #HEPAs for #CleanAir .

I was struck by the TRC definition in prep for a presentation on engineering reconciliation this week. The TRC sets four preconditions for reconciliation:

1. Awareness of the past
2. Acknowledgement of the harms
3. Atonement of the causes
4. Action to change behaviour

We have a life threatening allergy in our household. Glad this attack is being taken seriously!

If you have kids in your life, please raise allergy awareness with them. I *know* it's hard to believe but even traces can cause life-threatening reactions.

I don't think anything about the way society at large is responding to covid is “normal' but if it IS? I don't want any part of it. I'm proud to be someone who still cares about what's left of my health. Who cares about the health of others & breaking chains of transmission /13

No mention of 'source control', i.e. having the *patient* don a respirator. Any ideas why?

I can't help but think there are likely very few negative pressure rooms in the average clinic. Having only the HCW don PPE does nothing to protect the other staff, patients, and visitors.

Nothing is being done to keep drivers or students safe. There is no ventilation/filtration on these buses its 1950’s HVAC.
