A grade 1 teacher told me she has no money for books. She reached her allotment of paper for copying months ago and cannot exceed it. She was given $5.00 per child per year for pencils, erasers, note books all of which evaporated quickly and HE’s worried about phones!

So please, I beg everyone before commenting, think about all the many factors that prevent people from providing this 24/7 care to their loved ones at home.

This worried me too - we have hate speech laws and we need to see them enforced. Some are being arrested and charged but I see that mentioned much later. Charges should serve as a deterrent - not a footnote.
