The Wryneck Exclusion Zone remains in place for yet another yr @ St Aldhelm's Head, with 4 Whinchat, 2 Wheatear, 7 flava Wag', 3 Tripit, Lssr W'throat, Se.Warbler, Hobby, 3 Swift, & 275 Linnet, plus a smattering of Phylloscs, the main migrant interest this morning Dorset Bird Club

A 2 hour before dawn start at Glebelands, Ballard Down for some noc mig. No target birds but Knot and Redshank were new for the patch. Otherwise a few Tree Pipit. A few more during the vis mig plus 5 flava and an early Grey Wag. Lots of Chiffs and a Painted Lady Birds of Poole Harbour

Another damp cloudy day on PORTLAND the juvenile Marsh Harrier still around, a couple of ORTOLAN BUNTINGS only seen by the finders. Lots of Balearic Sherwaters a few ARTIC SKUAS chasing the terns with 6 common sands 3 Turnstones and a Ruff on EAST CLIFFS.
