Plenty of mines to be found recently too including these of Stigmella auromarginella - Gold-edged Dot. We're going for a big yearlist at the Swannery this year so plenty more to come! Dorset Moths

Continued frustration with a local Bunting flock, now up to 60 Yellowhammer present but just can't find myself a Cirl! 2 Corn Buntings seen a week or so ago have moved on. Over 200 Chaffinch and around 10 Reed Bunting too.

Can any botanists help me identify this plant please? It has staggered leaves rather than pairs, potentially a Myrtaceae but unsure. Ta

113 Cattle Egret left the Abbotsbury roost this morning, the marked temperature difference rather unwelcome as I waited from 7:30! ๐Ÿฅถ Steve Groves

Fabulous views of Great Northern Diver to be had around Weymouth and Portland at the moment, there must be well into double figures of birds present. Some of which show really well!

Green-winged Teal still at Silverlake, on the most northerly lake with Eurasian Teal. Many thanks to the kind birder who pointed it out to us ๐Ÿ‘
