30 species of adult moth recorded at the Swannery so far this year, Oak Beauty was number 30 last night. Good numbers of Diurnea fagella to light so far this year too, much improved on last year. Dorset Moths

117 species recorded with Nick Bond Glen Maddison and Mark Cutts around Dorset yesterday, not a particularly competitive total but brilliant day all the same!
2 Black-throated Diver from Sandsfoot + Red-necked Grebe, Slav and 2 BN Grebes. Also 2 Canada Goose on the breakwater Portland Bird Observatory
