I’m not sure how much clearer I can be…

If I have a new symptom or problem I don’t want or expect to see a PA, who has done a 2yr course of which 1 MONTH is in general practice.

Or one that chooses which specialty to work in like picking a paint colour👇🏼.

Call me a cynic, but this is deliberate obfuscation: the phrase “to access general practice appointments” is not the same as “to access an appointment with a GP”, and NHSE know it.

The public demand access to GPs; Chris and NHSE are giving the public PAs instead.

Physically and emotionally exhausted. Insane pressure on the medical team. Sickness tonight with no cover forthcoming.

Everything in my brain tells me this is not worth it for my own health and wellbeing. It's sad.

When I was an FY1, issues in work and personal life got my mental health falling to its rock bottom. I didn’t want to get help as I thought ‘it wasn’t bad enough’. Having to see my own GP was also a mental barrier for me. (1/5)
