Yesterday, Deputy Consul General Colin Gray, had the privilege of presiding over an Honours investiture for Michael Lubbock, founder of Sylvan Heights Bird Park in North Carolina. Michael is recognised for his decades of service to bird conservation around the world.

A wonderful celebration of UK-Georgia relations. Even thunderstorms couldn’t detract from Savannah’s beauty. Our first full Consulate in Georgia was established in 1824. Fitting that we were able to gather in the place that served as the Consul General’s Residence from 1857.
