Tartan Day celebrations continued this week with the National Capital Tartan Day Symposium and reception.

Our office was pleased to contribute to the programme, which included an engaging panel on collaboration between Scottish heritage societies in the DC metro area.

Last week, The Washington Tattoo visited two D.C. schools with the Rollin’ Drones and OzScot Australian Highland Dancers to showcase the best of Scottish culture.

Students were treated to an exciting performance and learned more about bagpipes and traditional Scottish dance.

We were delighted to host some of our US alumni at our Tartan Week reception, where guests were welcomed by Cabinet Secretary Angus Robertson and enjoyed some fine Scottish food and drink.
