Our colleague Feli Otte presented a corpus study concerned with number incorporation in the #dgskorpus last week at @gac2022 👏👏

Colleagues from our project presented in Mannheim at EURALEX 2022 with a nice following discussion about the dictionary. The Castle was a brilliant venue with stimulating input and a nice social program. The hand fan in the conference bag was a great idea, it was really hot.

Why can't we say "I like spinach at all"? Because "at all" is a Negative Polarity Item (NPI), it can only be used in negated contexts like "I don't like". Does German Sign Language have NPIs, too? Cornelia Loos and Marc Schulder @[email protected] are using the DGS Corpus to find out! #tislr14
