It is offered for other endoscopies WHY is Women's pain ignored?

Hysteroscopy Action Gail Busby Not entirely true. I work in the NE and offer the choice of outpatient with local, sedation (still outpatient) or general anaesthesia to all patients. Offering all 3 choices is (and should be) routine practice for us here

Disappointing news...my investigation into outpatient hysteroscopy under sedation has come to a bit of a stop.
The only unit I'm aware of that does this has an anaesthetist doing the sedation.

#Over50 59.2% of #Hysteroscopy patients will have to experience pain over >5-10 on VAS scale in outpatients without adequate anaesthetic. To find out if they have #Womb #Cancer or not .
