'A council home must be delivered by a council or a council’s dedicated delivery body. It must also be an affordable home available for rent or low-cost home ownership.'

So this must include Shared Ownership. Madness!

Great to hear that Sadiq Khan as Mayor of London is calling for leaseholders to be legally allowed to withhold payment of service charges where there is a dispute.

This needs to be extended to tenants too as they are also being financially abused.

That’s why I introduced an amendment to the Tories’ Leasehold Bill that would have permitted leaseholders to withhold their service charges if accounts aren’t produced within 6 months of the end of the financial year.

Government rejected it!
