"The public expect officers to act decisively to keep them safe but slow, unfair and ineffective accountability has damaged their confidence to do so." 🔽 Sir Mark Rowley has responded to the Home Office Accountability Review and the report into the IOPC news.met.police.uk/news/commissio…
Royston Martis About time. The police nor the public have ANY confidence in the .Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) .James Cleverly🇬🇧 Millions and millions wasted on badly led so called investigations. The inability & inexperience is terrifying. The ‘witch hunts’ and year upon year cases is a national disgrace.
DamilolaTaylorTrust The world is better place for having been in it. Rest in eternal peace reunited with Damilola. Good people at rest together 🙏🙏🙏
Delighted to be part of the ‘groundbreaking ceremony’ for the new Youth Empowerment Project on Virgin Gorda! The collaboration between YEP and UniteBVI Virgin Unite will bring a new youth centre and the amazing YEP programmes to a new generation of young people in the BVI!
I’ve asked the #GE2024 candidates who want to be my next MP to back the Climate & Nature Bill. It’s our best hope of tackling the climate-nature crisis and building a more prosperous future for all. Will you join me? #CANBill Zero Hour @zero-hour.bsky.social action.zerohour.uk
Too much uninformed criticism of Metropolitan Police on these challenging protests. Sir Mark is spot on. Officers are trying to keep the peace in a highly charged environment. theguardian.com/uk-news/2024/a…
We hate asking for followers. But we hate fox hunting even more. It’s why we will never be ashamed to ask for support here on X. Because the more of us there are the faster we can end this sick pastime. RT and follow Protect the Wild if you stand with us! 🦊
Zoe Gardner Hi Zoe - it is worn to commemorate officers who have died while serving - like Keith Blakelock - Pat Dunn - Yvonne Fletcher - Fiona Bone - Nicola Hughes & many others, funds help support charities like care of police survivors - it has nothing to do with far right or fascism.
