Really proud to finally have the #RCT I did as a #PHMfellow at VUMC Division of PHM & PHM Fellowship published in JAMA Network Open. We found that a 5 minute hospital discharge communication intervention including teach-back and show-back significantly reduced liquid medication dosing errors for kids

Standing up for the right thing is hard. And it can get exhausting. And at some point, you will start to feel like a 'complainer' if nothing is changing. I'm here to tell you, fighting for change is hard but it's worth it. Keep fighting the good fight.

The way I see #leadership , a manager's job is to demonstrate to employees (in myriad, consistent ways) that they value them, respect them & care about them -- all the while holding them accountable to a very high standard of performance.
