Really proud to finally have the #RCT I did as a #PHMfellow at VUMC Division of PHM & PHM Fellowship published in JAMA Network Open. We found that a 5 minute hospital discharge communication intervention including teach-back and show-back significantly reduced liquid medication dosing errors for kids
Congrats to the 1 and only Ryan Wolf, MD for conceptualizing and leading this study. Let’s hope his curiosity and hard work helps inform our understanding of racial disparities in pharmacologic restraint use so that we can all work together to eliminate these disparities in our 🏥
