We can not make any progress until we admit the truth. And the truth is, society tell us that women don’t matter as much as men. That’s the truth, and, however uncomfortable it might feel, we need to start saying that. Only once we admit our wrongs, can we begin to right them.

This week Chris Kaba, a 24-year-old Black man was shot and killed by police in London. He is the second Black man known to have died following contact with Met Police in the past three months and joins a shamefully long list of Black men who have died after use of fatal force.

I know I am not alone in being deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty the Queen. By way of tribute, and in honour of her good works, I'll be donating my first King Charles' bank notes to charities. Please join me, as times are very hard for people. #Tenderaising

Interesting insights from Daniel Field on how WWF refine their fundraising products using a process - grounded in data - to assess desirability (is there interest?), viability (will it make money?) and feasibility (can we/should we do it?) Chartered Institute of Fundraising #FutureConference

In Opinion Elon Musk. Jeff Bezos. Donald Trump. Sam Bankman-Fried. This week, "one after another, four of our best-known billionaires laid waste to the image of benevolent saviors carefully cultivated by their class," The.Ink, from Anand Giridharadas says. nyti.ms/3glqE7O

Really interesting Chartered Institute of Fundraising #FundraisingFestival conference today, in particular the #EDI talk by David Mbaziira and colleagues as well as the amazing Marie Curie presentation about cultivating future leaders. Loved the quiz at the end! #DeafSanta

Pelé was unique because, for the longest time, he was (is?) the yardstick by whom we judge greatness. His brilliance was so enduring that it was almost taken for granted, the same way that people in constantly hot countries might become complacent about the presence of the Sun.

Delighted that Chartered Institute of Fundraising #EDI committee member Pennylope Kapere was able to deliver such an engaging session CIOF West Midlands asking delegates to think about their own role & impact in supporting #inclusion #WestMidlandsConference #fundraising
