Danish-led #HRC55 resolution on national measures to prevent torture was just adopted by consensus at United Nations Human Rights Council!

🇩🇰 has been a proud penholder of 🇺🇳 resolutions on torture for 25+ years.

Torture remains a top priority & we will continue to work to protect the dignity of all 🌍

Today at #HRC55 , 🇮🇸 on behalf of 🇩🇰🇪🇪🇫🇮🇱🇻🇱🇹🇳🇴🇸🇪🇮🇸 voiced grave concern about serious violations of human rights and international humanitarian law in the DRC. 🇮🇸 called for the cessation of all hostilities and expressed strong opposition to the death penalty in the DRC.
