This weekend we remember Seán Rooney as we mark one month since his passing. Our thoughts remain with his family, friends and all who were lucky enough to have known him. Seán a chara, tá tú inár gcroí go deo.

Today, 206 members of Óglaigh na hÉireann were conferred with awards by South East Technological University. 198 received awards in Leadership, Management and Defence Studies (LMDS) while 8 were awarded Masters Degrees.

869674 Private Seán Rooney, a member of the 27 Infantry Battalion and a native of Newtwoncunningham, Co Donegal.
