This week, ahead of #WorldStrokeDay, the government revealed that it did not intend to fund the #NationalStrokeStrategy as previously promised. #Stroke survivors require and deserve more. We won't stand for lives lost and damaged needlessly.

A failure on the Government's part to fund the National Stroke Strategy as promised, may lead to more stroke units closing around Ireland, meaning additional lives being lost to #stroke and a reduced quality of life for stroke survivors. #StandForStroke #WorldStrokeDay
