Wow Minister what a spin your office has put on core funding today. You are not paying salaries your funding part of them. Your making providers out to be greedy yet again. Roderic O’Gorman TD ECCE services are closing their doors as you and your department have not addressed the capitation issue for them. We have been asking for €76 per child. This is an extra €7 a week. Offering us sustainability fund is an insult.Resolve this issue now mmcgrathtd

Roderic O’Gorman TD standing up in the dail spouting misinformation re Core funding is deplorable, 15 yrs open & funding has never improved. Spouting about PSP money after you removed it. Do u have any clue what is going on in your dept? No evidence of any investment on the ground??

You cannot deny increase in service closures. This graph says it all Saturday with Cormac ó hEadhra This Week RTÉ this needs to be addressed urgently. Services that closed last year are still on the TUSlA register. We need to ask why ?

The Federation of Early Childhood Providers are putting Feet on the Streets of Dublin on the 27th June. Protest outside Leinster House. Fee freezes are crippling services. Ecce services trapped and being dictated and stuck in fee freeze since 2010. So many services closing permanently. #feetonthestreets

Minister O’Gorman and a group, none whom are childcare providers have decided to regulate our fees. Not any one of us has the same running costs, especially with inflation. Stop trying to control us, it’s not going to happen!@MurphyDunne Peadar Tóibín TD Roderic O’Gorman TD Micheál Martin

UPS you contacted us to say no one home to collect a package today was incorrect as my husband waited in all day for you. You need to speak to your driver. Not good enough and a lot of valuable time wasted by us!! #UPS_Ireland

Our sector is imploding and mark my words there will be no parental choice. ECCE services will be a thing of the past. No incentive to do extra hours when you are stuck in a historic fee freeze of €4.60 an hour because of a department policy. Or the dept interpretation or a rule
