And well done to @frankmcg88 who was agonisingly close to a medal but did come away with a new PB of 4:05 in the under 17 men’s 1500m final 👏🏼

Just read the TCS London Marathon update email. It ain't going to work guys - you're essential asking 40,000 people to run with their mobile phones. Will definitely be needed up to/morning of the race, and afterwards - not practical #LondonMarathon

England Athletics Millom School Sports Labs Consult parkrun UK How is this going to boost performance sport/training? Do parkrunners really need an all-weather surface? What’s wrong with existing pavements and footpaths? Why replace grass with rubber? Also not floodlit so not much use in winter?

When is a track not a track? Are these unlit jogging trails a good idea? When did the focus shift so completely away from performance to mass participation? Worrying….
