Sarah has shown the UK that our GPs care about us, not only at the patient level, but critically at the population level. In return we have thrown her in jail, and struck her off the medical register Just Stop Oil Extinction Rebellion UK 🌍 bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Why do I always start my with 'Oh, I thought I had registered' and 'Ah, so I can't just hand my talk to the convenors at the beginning of the session' 😀 - get in touch if you want to meet up. I'm giving a talk tomorrow in the attribution session

The UK is not resilient to the threats of climate change. Other countries from Germany to Bangladesh are doing more to adapt. UK plan needs
1. Coordination of plans across central and local gov
2. Investment aligned to clear targets
3. Monitoring of a set of key indicators

Of course your answer is “High Resolution”. You just got finished readin' some modelling center director-- Stevens or Palmer probably. You're gonna be convinced of that 'til next month when you get to Schneider, and then you're gonna be here talkin' hybrid AI/numerical models

Excited to formally award a PhD to Emily Ball - such an outstanding thesis on atmospheric circulation on Mars. We thought we'd dress in red to be more at one with the red planet. My gown accurately depicts the polar layer deposits 😀

We are looking for some advice on met equipment that could be used by ambulance clinicians to measure temperatures in patient’s home. Something that requires no input from the user during call outs, and doesn't get in the way. Any ideas?
