When is somebody going to choose environmentalism on BBC Pointless ? Just appeared again and once again not chosen. Will it last as long as rare breeds of poultry?
Excellent paper by Daniel showing the extreme rainfall that could have been in the UK - there is no getting around large ensemble sizes for methods like UNSEEN rmets.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jo… Peter Stott MBE Paul Bates CBE FRS
ExeterHour Poltimore House I am in tears. One of my favourite places. Visit often, have taken part in the art exhibition, inspiration for art and photographs
I'm really hoping it doesn't take as long for somebody to choose Environmentalism on BBC Pointless as it did to choose Rare Breeds of Poultry. I'm curious to know what the questions on environmentalism are.
Not at all bad! Another way to talk about saving the planet and a proof that top footballers can also act. How about Liverpool FC invite some top Liverpool FC supporting climate scientists to visit and have a chat about the latest science !
Cakes, as well as scones, I have discovered, taste better with margarine and the National Trust Victoria Sandwich cake (from the National Trust book of baking), made with margarine, is delicious! Use butter for the butter cream filling and topping though.
Very much looking forward to interviewing Christy Lefteri OxfordLitFest next week about her wonderful novel The Book of Fire, exploring her heartfelt story of a family devastated by fire in a Greek village and the vexed question of attribution of blame. oxfordliteraryfestival.org/literature-eve…
