Almost paradise.

It was a sod of a lot of travel to get here for the wedding, but hey, at least the view is good.

Today's discovery - lots of biological literature reporting that the biuret test positive forms from multiple secondary amides binding to Cu2+ via N lone pairs. Apparently just like Biuret does. Except ... where the hell did that come from, 'cos it's not remotely true?
