Selective Dry Cow Therapy will be compulsory from the 28th January 2022 under European legislation. This means that dairy farmers will no longer be allowed to administer dry cow tubes to all quarters of all cows in the herd at drying off. More here bit.ly/3IzassZ

Working on my NMC presentation and reviewed Journal of Dairy Science | JDS Communications 2017, 100:7751 Francoz et al. Despite decades of trying, there is NO EVIDENCE that oxytocin, homeopathy, probiotics, vitamins or other non-antimicrobials are efficacious as treatments for #bovine #mastitis.
