Humility is the awareness that we never achieve anything on our own. It means to recognize, acknowledge and thank our teachers, our families, our mentors, our colleagues, our helpers, our friends, our allies...for any seemingly individual achievement.

Really important investigative work about the power gap for women in the workplace—including how it is even more profound for BIPOC women. Of note, they could not identify non-binary, trans and 2S people. And this data is from 2018 so likely worse now due to #covid.

Equity work is not just about cheerleading or speaking out. It involves the heavy, messy and uncomfortable work of dismantling programs, structures, systems, practices, etc. In my experience, this is often taken on by people who do so very quietly and with humility.
