Thank you Tim Loughton for asking about the numbers of Health Visitors employed by the NHS in England. Sadly, the answer revealed that Health Visitor numbers are at there lowest level in the past 10 years. With COVID19 and rising poverty families need their help more than ever.

What will it take for this to be taken seriously? How many children’s lives have to be affected? GP and MW vacancies are being taken seriously but the loss of health visitors is so much greater in proportion. All are critical for children #TimetoAct #TurnofftheTaps Sajid Javid
