As children return to school today at the start of the new term, it is a national disgrace that 4.3 million of them are living in poverty.
We’re calling on Jeremy Hunt to make 3 policy changes to lift 1 million children from poverty in the UK.

As members of the First 1001 Days
coalition of charities, we support the #Manifestoforbabies . Early intervention & support for parents is key in the first 1001 days to lay the foundations for a happy & healthy life. This cannot be done without cross-govt strategy & investment.
It was a privilege to speak at the launch of the #manifestoforbabies and discuss the importance of a cross-government strategy for babies, children and young people. Young children's voices need to be heard ahead by all political parties ahead of the General Election.
