Congrats to Dr. Alysse Wurcel (@IDDoc78) who with Shira doron and other researchers received The Tufts Springboard grant to better understand barriers and facilitators to antimicrobial stewardship implementation in prisons and jails. Tufts Medical Center
Thank you to the ASA Sociology staff and all who made the ASA annual meeting happen. So great learning about award winning work, seeing friends and colleagues, profound conversations, and getting to launch our NSF grant on developing an identity as a sociologist.
I am insanely pround of the exxtensive work of my former MD/PhD student Dr. Gulrez S Azhar, MD PhD who addresses prevention of heat related morbidity and mortality. Keep up the great work! npr.org/sections/goats…
Chloe E. Bird I think there’s something in this vein that’s right, but I think an exaggerated sense of needing to do this is where I’ve often seen people write these talks where 20 minutes is lit review. I think the problem is probably the vagueness of “context”
Thank you to Kai Ruggeri and colleagues for creating and sharing this tool which is interesting and useful on many levels and great for teaching.
