At our trust you can bank contractual leave (you have to take your statutory leave) in a lifetime allowance to save it up for a big holiday/ it’s paid when you leave and you can buy/ sell annual leave. Not sure if this is revolutionary but maybe it is!

One thing that makes good days very productive, is for me to spend the first 10 minutes of my day noting down the things I need to do, literally before I open my eyes properly.

I kind of took the day off today! Lay in - until 7:15!!!

No meetings! Did a couple of work bits (that i wanted to do). Had lunch together to celebrate our anniversary and then went for a swim and sorted the kids together!
