The ACS is very sad to hear of the death of our dear friend Peter Wynne-Thomas, the leading cricket statistician and historian. A founder member of Association of Cricket Statisticians & Historians, he served as our Secretary from 1974-2006. He was also Nottinghamshire CCC's librarian, archivist and recent president.

Very sad to hear that PWT has died. Young at heart and with an encyclopaedic mind when it came to all things cricket. It was a pleasure to publish his biography of Notts player Arthur Carr.
