This book by Sonora Jha really hit home for me because, well, I have 2 sons! My takeaway is we all can be raising our kids to be feminists, especially our sons. It’s about asking questions, challenging the stereotypes, & understanding our biases. I recommend picking it up!

We suffer both consciously & unconsciously. Uncovering my unconscious suffering came unexpectedly thru being a mother to 2 boys & grappling with my identity as wife, mom, widow and wife again. Thru this suffering and perseverance, I found something incredibly beautiful. Myself.

A few years ago I signed up for HelloFresh Canada meal service. I didn't like cooking, it got in the way of getting work done. 4 years later--it's changed my life! My mindset shifted from cooking is getting in the way of my productivity to cooking as a way to settle down and relax.
