Spring small groups are in full swing! Our coaches, Chelsea Olson and Ms. Carly Nalepa, have been exceptionally intentional in their planning 🗒️ We can’t wait to see our students grow! #WitterOnTwitter 🐾

I knew I needed a way to motivate my small groups, but with nearly 70 kids a day, it needed to be manageable, sustainable, & inexpensive! Every day they come & are an active participant, they get a sticker for their folder. It has been so fun to watch them fill them up!

On this week of pulling small groups…I’m celebrating my two 4th grade groups!! EVERY SINGLE ONE increased their score from QMT 2 -> QMT 3!!!! This group is extra special to me, as I taught them in 3rd! ❤️

It’s a party… a PROFICIENCY PARTY! Nachos and Kona Ice to celebrate our students who got a 3, 4 or 5 on FAST! Way to go. I could not be more proud!!! ❤️🐾 Witter Wildcats

During my small groups, you’ll see kids walking around with clipboards, on the carpet, talking with a partner, or on the computer. It might look like chaos to you, but I see independent workers, problem solving and having fun with math. Choice builds confidence!! Potter Elementary
