That’s it. Parliament locked in key improvements to the bill. 🤩

Grateful to Charlie Angus, Jonathan Wilkinson 🇨🇦 and their teams for working with stakeholders to improve the text.

Now, let’s get this over the finish line - the real work starts once this becomes the law.

Why would someone who lives in the heart of the city care about a super highway being built on the fringes of the region?

Quality of life. Safe streets free from overwhelming traffic, and the noise and pollution that cars sitting in traffic brings.

Highways act as funnels…

Happening today: Bill C-50, the Sustainable Jobs Act, is finally back in the House of Commons!

➡️This is good news -this legislation represents a significant opportunity for Canada to embrace the green economy and create high-quality jobs that Canadians can take pride in.

Here are the details on the ⁦Ontario PC Party⁩ industrial carbon tax that Tory MPPs neglect to mention in their screeds against the federal consumer carbon tax. Doug Ford’s tax jumps from $65 a tonne of carbon to $80 on Jan. 1, 2025

The OEB has protected consumers for almost 40 years. But the Ford govt is taking the unprecedented step of overturning an OEB ruling to benefit oil and gas giant Enbridge.

My question to the Minister: what does he have to say to the Ontarians who are going to see their gas bills…

It's funny because Premier Higgs has never seemed to think NB can get off coal, but he thinks he can create a gas industry, build an LNG export facility, and, after offering to ship NB gas to Europe, he is really sure he can help them get off coal.

Last week an Exxon-owned carbon pipeline leaked in Louisiana

Everyone in the area was told to shelter in place to avoid exposure to the high pressure CO2, which can cause asphyxiation

Carbon capture infrastructure is not safe

If you want to keep rural Ontario rural, you should applaud initiatives like this one, from Bradford's Jonathan Scott.

Adding new homes within EXISTING neighborhoods is how a real small town grows.

Smothering a town in garage subdivisions makes it just another suburb of Toronto.

Enbridge's Ontario customers can now expect to pay an additional $120 per year on their energy bill. This is because the Ford Government has sided with Enbridge Gas, subjecting ratepayers to foot the bill for new pipelines to new homes. RSVP here ⬇️ 1/3
