1/12/24 Culinary/FCCLA had a behind-the-scenes tour of Dos Gatos Kolache Bakery in San Marcos. Seth started the bakery in 2005 with his brother; they have 2 locations and other food businesses with 140 employees.  Seth treated us to one of his delicious kolaches! #gritandganas

On 2/12/24, Culinary/FCCLA students assisted Parkview Nursing Home residents with decorating Mardi Gras cookies. They also got a tour of the BBQ pits at Terry Blacks.  Nat Cancel, a past Lockhart High School Culinary student was the Pit master for that day! #GritandGanas #LHSCTE

2/15/24 catered at The International Room at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.  These students worked with Chef Byron Buzzini to make meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans for visitors from all over the world. #GritandGanas #lockheartleading

3/8/24, Lockhart High School culinary students visited several locally owned businesses and learned about their stories. Hydroponic plant nursery, Poco Loco, The Culinary Room,  Good Things Grocery, and Commerce Cafe.
