Behind-the-scenes tour of The Texas Pie Company in Kyle TX. Julie, the owner, started her venture 24 years ago & now has her recipe as HEB pie crust. She produces 25,000 pies over the holiday season and has a restaurant storefront in Kyle. Great advice from a Texas entrepreneur!

Culinary got a behind-the-scenes tour of Granzin's Meat Market. Granzin's demonstrated the breakdown of a lamb & much more as well as gift each student an insulated bag, t-shirt, thermometer, & dried sausage. We also visited 2 Tarts Bakery in New Braunfels, Texas. #GritandGanas

LHS Culinary got a behind-the-scenes tour of the famous Culinary Room & the newly opened Bread & Thorn.  It is amazing to hear the pathway that each food business took to open the doors & continue to increase their business. Students also were able to eat at Market Street Cafe.

4/3/25 Students catered an event & made flower arrangements & food. The food was a Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad, Mandarin Orange Salad, Homemade Crustinis, Deluxe Cookies, Fruit Tray, Sausage Balls & hot pretzels. The students also were able to see Sushi made @ Atan Sushi Restaurant.

On December 3, our FCCLA students catered an event at Corridor Title’s new location. Our culinary students prepared egg bites, sugar‑cinnamon muffins, banana bread muffins, fruit cups, and pigs in a blanket. We are very proud of them for serving delicious food to the community!
