Busy weekend for the Turf Care team The Glendale G&CC. Lots of check marks. ✅️💯 Had to make hay while the sun shines. Forecast is 👎, but the moisture is welcomed.

The wait is over!! We can now officially announce that the 2023 season at The Glendale will begin on Tuesday, April 25th!! Members can now book tee times online or by calling the Golf Shop.

Drainage enhancements and pond edge reclamation nearly complete. All ready for sod this weekend. Busy few days ahead prepping for Opening Day, Tuesday the 25th.

7" of rain followed by great weather - the turf is bouncing back nicely after the drought. TC staff have been able to re-focus their time and energy on the details and playing "catch up" on some cultural practices like topdressing all short-cut turf. @theglendale ⛳️💪

The past 3 days The Glendale G&CC hosted Alberta Golf Senior Mens Championship. Although our Turf Care Team didn't do much more above our normal every day practices, the golf course peaked at the right time for the final day. Proud of our team, our club, and the volunteers. 💪⛳️

Well, we are 95% of the way there to winterizing the golf course. Fingers crossed for finishing later in the week. But for now, we will take the snow cover and insulation The Glendale G&CC. Brrrrrr🥶

Yesterday was my last day of work at The Glendale G&CC. It's been an incredible 8 years, and I'm very thankful for all the people who made it so special. As one chapter closes, the next one starts. I'm excited to head back to Priddis Greens G&CC, the place that kick-started my career.
