Today, we welcomed Service Employees International Union Local 2 SEIU Local 2 for meeting with me and my colleagues Bowinn Ma George Chow Ravi Parmar and Bruce Ralston BC Legislature and discussed their concerns regarding better working conditions for all service workers

It’s always a great feeling for me to meet Surrey-Whalley constituents at the Legislature. Earlier today, I had the chance to catch up with my friend Tammy Dao, a leader within the Vietnamese community in #Surrey , who was visiting BC Legislature as part of an official delegation.

Yesterday, I delivered opening remarks to the New Carbon Economy Consortium’s annual meeting at University of British Columbia. Thanks to the consortium members: universities, labs, NGOs and industry working to reduce emissions and meet our climate goals.

Thanks to Canadian Bankers Association for the informative conversation on how our priorities align on constructing affordable housing across the province and on a just transition to a low carbon economy.

It was good to see my constituent Imam Ibrahim Elhaj in Victoria today for the NCCM meetings with MLAs.
