The #BCLeg Canadian flag is flying at half-mast until sunset on April 6 to honour the memory of Hon. Iona Campagnolo, PC, OC, OBC, 27th Lieutenant Governor of BC, who died on April 4 — a trailblazer and role model to many.

#OTD in 1917, some BC women were able to vote in a provincial election for the first time. Others, including Chinese, South Asian, Japanese, and Indigenous women, had to continue to wait decades before having this right.
