NEW - Environment Minister George Heyman, who is Jewish and the child of Holocaust refugees, said “it’s simply not my experience” that there is antisemitism within the NDP caucus as alleged by Selina Robinson. He took issue w BC United saying the NDP lost its only Jewish voice.

No student should miss out on school activities because their family can’t afford it. That’s why we’re replenishing the Student and Family Affordability Fund. It means more kids can participate in the activities they choose and get the school supplies they need.

Interesting fact: this pilot project was created under the BCUP, and criteria had to be subsequently revised because of these loopholes that allowed speculators to take advantage. BC Housing now has to sue those speculators because the BCUP botched the project. #bcpoli
