Today is a special day. It is parkrun UK day.

Black Park is currently scheduled to be open until 12 noon tomorrow, so parkrun will go ahead as normal.

Road Closures On Saturday 29th Feb you will not be able to turn right from the A412 Uxbridge Road heading towards Slough into Black Park Road - the centre reservation gap will be closed. Instead you'll need to carry on to the next right turn (Wexham Park Lane) and do a U turn.

Then the following week, March 7th, there will be no access at all to Black Park Road from the A412 in either direction. A diversion will be in place via Wexham Park Lane, Church Lane, Wexham Street & Rowley Lane, bringing you out at Black Park from the opposite direction.

There will also be no exit from Black Park Road to the A412 - you'll need to retrace the diversion. The diversion will be fully signposted. Please allow extra time for your journies on both days.

Well done

This week at Black Park, 545 people ran, jogged and walked our fabulous course, of whom 34 were first timers and 54 recorded new Personal Bests (congratulations!). Representatives of 34 different clubs took part.

The park was beautiful, leading to a fabulous run. The atmosphere was extremely positive in what is a very unsettling time for some, and we need to keep that up in the coming weeks! Kindness really makes a difference, so take time to enquire about others
