Significant day for the NDIS with @billshortenmp releasing NDIS Review’s final report. Lifting quality & safeguards, reforming pricing & payment approaches & ending worker exploitation are key to strengthening the NDIS workforce & delivering better outcomes for participants.

Our health services enter yet another Code Yellow. Many Allied Health Professionals are essential for patient discharge, but we're facing persistent understaffing challenges. Urgent action needed to ensure adequate care for all. Allied Health are crucial in reducing bed block!

We need to build a health workforce that can cope with seasonal pressures.

The mounting stress on the health workforce now sees HSU OT members taking industrial action. Chronic understaffing of OTs is a key issue. “These issues cause delays that significantly impact bed block and ramping and places unrelenting pressure on workers.” - Billy Elrick
