I wrote with John Legend about the repression of bail funds & movements via proposed legislation to limit, outlaw, & even criminalize bail funds in Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, & Kentucky. The carceral state is threatened by the power of collective care.

Congratulations to Joseph Landau, associate dean for academic affairs, who Fordham University President Tania Tetlow has selected as Fordham Law’s 12th Dean. Landau, an accomplished legal scholar and award-winning professor, begins his tenure on July 1.
