Colin Bstard Naybe a House of Commons, elected by PR in multimember constituencies each of which would fall within an English region with similar devolved powers to Wales. England and Wales would elect โ€œ representativesโ€œ to sit in regional parliaments and โ€œsenatorsโ€ to sit in 2nd chamber.

Conservatives Instead of a dog whistle aimed at the poor and vulnerable, why not do something positive about the health of the nation by giving the the resources it needs to cut waiting lists?

Claire L Shortt I think the best we can do is reduce their Majority.
The good thing is, I think the Electorate are smarter than the political class.
But my suggestions still stand.

Jo Caulfield Or, because of the FPTP voting system, vote for the best placed candidate /party to get the Tories out.
Also if you want to vote for a candidate you actually support, in future elections, vote for candidates that supports Proportional Representation.

James O'Brien Kassandra๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ•ธ๐Ÿ•Š no DMs There is no way we can come together until we all have an equal voice. How can people respect each other when we know the system means that most of us donโ€™t matter and those that do matter are happy with the advantage they have? Meaningful votes can bring us closer.

Keir Starmer Carlโ€™s Lexicon That is so clearly not the case. Joining the EU is clearly in the national interest, yet for party advantage you oppose it. Most people want to rejoin, so you oppose a fair electoral system that would make it happen!

Graham Simpson They are right. And our crap voting system means the only voters that matter are swing voters in marginal seats. A Labour landslide will perpetuate this crap voting system - only for a can .

X-Lymbat The problem with voting purely to remove the Tories is that Labour are second in 276 Tory seats, meaning a huge Labour majority, no PR and more tactical voting in 2029.
Labour gains in their 80ish top Tory targets would be enough.

The Icon of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world holds 5,610 in hotel luxury.

The Bibby Stockholm holds 220, or 4000 if you squash them in.

They both cost ยฃ1.6bn, one to buy, the other to rent for 2 years.

The corruption and grift is insane.

Jail these crooks.

Graham Simpson Labourโ€™s electoral coalition is incredibly fragile. If the economy doesnโ€™t grow a lot they will need to make major cuts. This could easily be a one term government

The Labour leadership are excited about having a massive Parliamentary majority on around 40% of our vote. Itโ€™s logical therefore for them to oppose a fairer electoral system that doesnโ€™t disenfranchise millions of votes. Itโ€™s just really sadโ€ฆ

Richard Graham Simpson Which is why they need to during their first term ... or face the prospect that Cons could easily regain unilateral power on a minority vote share in 2028/29, in which case they'd only have their own hubris and complacency to blame.

Raymond Snoddy South Cotswolds is Labour target 393(!). No one who wants PR should be voting Labour there unless they think Labour will give us PR if they get 400+ MPs (see also eg 1997, 2001).
