Our Alaska field crew has wrapped up their work after a successful 1st campaign! With WSL Umweltforschung @wslresearch.bsky.social, 6 geophones were installed, & numerous "site-to-reference" seismic measurements conducted. Grateful for support from SwissPolarInstitute, Alpine Air and colleagues from UAF Geophysical Institute & USGS 🏔️🎉
Yesterday at #EGU24 I could present the results of my master thesis on modelling englacial temperatures 💻🧊. Thanks a lot for the tremendous interest in my poster. Also thanks Livia Jakob for capturing this photo. I honestly hadn’t noticed all those people in the back 😅.
Excited to start my PhD VAW Glaciology! Looking forward to the upcoming years ❄️⛰️
