Last week group members Christophe Ogier & Raphael Moser teamed up with PSI Paul Scherrer Institut for fieldwork at the summit of Mont Collon and Alphubel. The aim: to date the site's oldest ice and to investigate the past glacier coverage at high elevation. 🔍⛺️⛷️

And that's a wrap ‼️ With a total of 10 oral presentations, 8 poster presentations, and co-convening/convening 7 sessions, we had an incredible time at #EGU24 . Big thanks to all for the fascinating insights into the latest advances in glaciological research 🙏🧊 EGU

In this paper led by Ian Delaney Université de Lausanne, we use a long-term record of suspended sediment concentrations at Fieschertal, to infer on the temporal dynamics of subglacial and proglacial sediment transport. Check out the full manuscript at doi.org/10.1029/2023WR…
