Thanks for the delicious Boston lobster! Super excited to announce that I'll be joining SanaHeal, Inc. and working with Hyunwoo Yuk on the development & translation of next-generation bioadhesive technology! Look forward to solving some clinical challenges in the real world!

A review that pretty much summarizes my whole academic journey at MIT is published today. A fun side project with Xuanhe Zhao during the pandemic. nature.com/articles/s4157…

Our startup plan to add more team members (one R&D engineer & one technical engineer) in early 2023 (who can start in early 2023). We may advertise formally with job descriptions soon. Let me know if you might be interested!

Please check out our newly designed website (SanaHeal.com)! One of my startup experiences so far is that nothing is simple in the real world, especially in regulated areas. Never expected that building a website would take so much efforts, but proud that we did it!

Another amazing design from SciFig ! Cannot recommend their service enough if you have illustration needs. The studio comprises talented and creative researchers/designers who understand the science and draw it well!

To echo Binbin Ying 应斌斌’s comment, I also immensely enjoyed working with Li Jianyu 李剑宇 and my time at McGill. Besides, Montreal is a lively and livable city. It's easy to support a decent quality of life with a fraction of the costs of typical big cities in the US/Canada.

An amazing story of SanaHeal by Elie Dolgin for the nature Spinoff Prize! Although we are still pushing hard to make our tech in people's hands and bodies, this article brings up so many memories of our team's journey so far starting from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and now ongoing in startup.

Excited to share our new paper published in PNAS. By engineering the topology of hydrogel surface network, we can precisely modulate hydrogel adhesion in magnitude, kinetics, and spatial distribution without changing bulk mechanics and chemistry. pnas.org/eprint/IBIUSWY…

Congratulations! Hard work paid off! I lost count already on how many late-night discussions we’ve had throughout the project. I learned a great deal of topological adhesion from you.

Happy to share our new publication in University of New Brunswick Law Journal. We use China's national emissions trading scheme as a case study to examine the regulation of emissions data and the associated legal institutions, practices, and challenges. In nature today, we reported that adhesive implant-tissue interfaces can prevent the formation of observable fibrous capsules on various organs, including the abdominal wall, colon, stomach, lung and heart, in diverse animal models, including rats, mice, humanized mice and pigs.
